Neal Kowalsky’s theatrical career has spanned more than a decade originating from Stage Management, then moving into Directing and Assistant Directing. Mr. Kowalsky has worked Off-Broadway, Regionally and at Universities across the United States. He is a critically acclaimed director whose credits include: SPAMALOT (Berkshire Critics Pick “Favorite Director” and “Favorite Musical”, BroadwayWorld Nominated “Best Director of a Musical” and “Best Musical”), SOUTH PACIFIC (BroadwayWorld Nominated “Best Director of a Musical”), THIEVES (The Public Theater), MY PEOPLE (A One-Man Show written and performed by Buddy Crutchfield), THE GOD-SHAPED HOLE (World Premiere at OC-Centric New Play Festival), AVENUE Q, SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD, and YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN. Associate and Assistant Directing credits include: CLONED! (NY Times Critics Pick and NYMF Best of Fest Winner), SOUTH PACIFIC (Drury Lane Theatre), NEXT TO NORMAL (Regional Premiere at Pioneer Theatre Company), The Signature Theatre, Lark Play Development Center, NYMF, Second Stage and ABC/Disney. Neal is a proud and active Associate Member with The Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), including volunteering annually with the Broadway Cares Equity Fights Aids (BC/EFA) Flea Market.
